Ané (pronounced Ah-nay) means beautiful lady with a song, and this beautiful lady lives up to her name. This international recording artist is an awesome song stylist, songwriter and extraordinary performer. She’s heart and soul. Her powerful and eloquent solo performances have spanned the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

Ané has been influenced by an impressive entourage of entertainers sexy, classy, and sassy, and ooh can she sing! Originally from New Jersey, and currently residing in Las Vegas, Ané sings music that touches the including Aretha Franklin, Glady Knight the late Natalie Cole and the late Phyllis Hyman, and last but not least, Anita Baker.

Her first CD, “My Story-Vol. 1” established Ané in the U.K. as a force to be reckoned with and includes eight tunes written by this sensational vocalist and confirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that Ané is already a star! The original compositions on this CD penned by Ané , “I Choose You, Ooh Babe, I Can’t Stop Lovin’ You, It Seems Like and Once Upon A Time”, tell passionate stories of love and are delivered as only this diva can. This incredible CD provides listeners with a soulful-Brazilian influenced rendition of Bill Withers “Use Me”; a pulsating version of Carole King’s “It’s Too Late”, and a variety of adult contemporary tunes, as well as captivating, smooth R&B. Her 2nd album “Learning To Love Myself-Vol. 2” was received with open arms again in the U.K., and spread quickly to Canada, Brazil, Australia and Asia. Her cover of Janet Jackson’s “Anytime, Anyplace” is still being downloaded every day. “Bye, Bye” apologizes for cheating with someone married. The title tune “Learning To Love Myself” is a groove and message. All songs on ”Where I’m Coming From” are cover tunes that Ané choose to honor some of her favorite songs and singers, including a live recording of “You Send Me” by Sam Cooke. Ané is the proud recipient of the award for “Best Performance by an R&B Artist 2006”, “Best Neo-Soul Performer 2009” and “Music Legend 2016”. These awards were presented by Las Vegas Black Music Awards. She has appeared with the industry’s finest: Aretha Franklin, Peabo Bryson,The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Kenny G, Tony Bennett, Dick Clark, Chuck Berry, Lesley Gore, Neil Sedaka and the list goes on and on. She’s appeared on national TV shows such as Regis & Kathy Lee, E-Entertainment, The CBS Morning Show, and NBC News with Al Roker.

For 26 years Ané has been singing and performing all over the world with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legends, The Fabulous Shirelles with original Shirelles member Beverly Lee. The Shirelles were the 1st female group in the history of music to sell one million records and they paved the way for the girl groups that came later.

Ané has spent the past 26 years as a member of the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group The Shirelles and now brings the same dynamic style and talents to her stage production This is a Man’s World…Buttt.
